How to Stop Being Tired All the Time

The answer to  your tiredness might be right here on this page…

If you really want to stop being tired all the time, do yourself a favor and don’t just skim through. Read it thoroughly once, then take a piece of paper, read it again and take notes, then start taking action right away…

The Three Keys to Overcoming Tiredness:

1. Think Positive

Easier said than done, of course, but if you’re busy thinking about how tired you are all the time, or let stress and worries drag you down – you’ll always be tired.

You may have to work on reducing your stress level, getting rid of negative thinking patterns and developing a more positive outlook. You may need to learn some relaxation techniques, such as meditation.

2. Live Healthy

If you smoke, do whatever you can to quit, or at least reduce your smoking.

Limit, avoid or look for homeopathic alternatives to medications (if you take subscription drugs, consult your Doctor).

Eat well – get a good breakfast every morning, don’t skip meals and replace junk food, coffee, alcohol and snacks with highly nutritious food, meaning mainly: lots of water and real whole food – raw fruit, vegetables, eggs, nuts and seeds.

Move your body. The more active you are the more energetic you will be, so get some good workout a few times a week. The least you can do is increase your physical activity – walk more, take the stairs instead of the elevator and so on.

3. Sleep Well

Insist on getting enough sleep every night. How much is enough is up to you, (The average is 7-8 hours.) just make sure you go to sleep when your body tells you to, instead of keeping yourself up to watch TV, for example.

More importantly, make sure you get high quality sleep. A few things you can do are:

- Find out if you have Sleep Apnea and treat as soon as possible if you do. A few signs are heavy snoring, excessive night sweating and waking up with headache. (If you have some of these check out How I Stopped Snoring and Night Sweating).

- Do your best to stick to a steady sleep schedule, which means that you go to sleep and wake up every day at the same time.

- Try to expose your eyes to sunlight as much as possible. Spend time outdoors in the sun, and take off your sunglasses when you don’t really need them. (There is a complex explanation to it, but let’s just say that sunlight helps your inner ’sleep clock’ reset itself each day.)

- Avoid nicotine, caffeine, alcohol and sugar close to bedtime. How close? As a general rule – have your last cup of coffee at least 6 hours before bedtime, (Or avoid coffee altogether.) and avoid smoking, alcohol, soft drinks, chocolate and sweat snacks at least a couple of hours before bedtime.

Make an effort to implement at least some these guidelines and there’s a good chance that you will stop being tired.
