, and I'm a recovered 'sleep addict'... :-)
Since I can remember myself,  I used to have trouble getting myself out of bed in the morning, no matter how long I slept...

Ten to twelve hours sleep was quite normal for me, and sometimes I would go up to 14 hours a "night".

The more I slept, the more tired I would feel all day. I had trouble concentrating, and I sometimes even had headaches because of the excessive sleep.

But that's not the worst part...

I used to be chronically late and had very little time left for anything!

This ADDICTION made me look Irresponsible and lazy - by myself and by others - which damaged my self esteem, my relationships, and what not...

During years of struggle, I've done a lot of research on sleep, energy and motivation,  and tried numerous ways to take control of my sleep, and increase my energy level.

Long story short - I now sleep about 7 hours, wake up refreshed (even before the alarm!), and I enjoy a high level of energy all day long.

Believe me, if can do it, anyone can!

If you're a relatively healthy person, most chances are that you're tired, sleep a lot or having trouble sleeping, because of a combination of:

In the best case, you used to have such issues a long time ago, but still carry some bad habits that were established back then (That's how habits tend to be).

these habits are caused by emotional issues, like stress and depression.
